A-Mart (Private) Ltd., is one of the latest business ventures of Abans Group of Companies. It commenced its business operations in April 2007 with the opening of the largest & newest Department Store in Welisara. The Department Store is named “Abstract” and it has an area of 55,000 sq ft.

Abstract has got the finest designer wear clothing for elegant men and women, branded apparels, sarees, lingerie, perfumes, jewellery, quality shirts & trousers, suits and accessories for men of class and distinction. We are also tied up with world renowned brands such as Van Huesen, Louis Phillipe, Allen Solly, Peter England, Lee, Arrow, Wrangler, Reid & Taylor, Puma and Disney.

Vendors such as Stone "N" String, Exclusive Lines, DSI, Reebok, Emerald, Himalaya, Revlon, Wolfgang, Triumph, and Uthum Pathum have located their shops at "Abstract".

We have found that there is a good potential of promoting our Department Store among foreign tourists and many more real, authentic products have been made available in our Store to attract foreign tourists.

Also we have the world’s best brands of digital home appliances, entertainment systems, Computers, IT accessories, mobile phones etc. Brands such as LG, Hoover, JVC, Electrolux, Mitsubishi, JBL, Haier, IBM, Lenovo, and HP are also available at "Abstract".

We have Achieved...

"Abstract" showcased their exclusive collection of apparels and accessories and all invited distinguished guests were really impressed about the new arrivals. With the sponsorship of Abans Limited, Unilever Ceylon Ltd, Hemas Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd, Mohksha Pvt Ltd (Stone ‘N’ String) and Triumph International Pvt Ltd, "Abstract" had organized a Quiz Programme. The Winners were awarded valuable gifts by the representatives of the respective Companies. This also helped "Abstract" to create the brand and product awareness of various products available at the Store.

In the Future...

"Abstract" plans to open up two more One-Stop Lifestyle Shopping Destinations in the heart of Colombo and Dehiwela very soon.

"Abstract" also has aggressive plans of reaching outstations in future.
